Buying Moby instead of Black Eye Peas Cd

To Black Eye Peas (BEP) fans, as you might have noticed, their reign is almost over because the latest album (The E.N.D) does not reflect what the band used to represent: the underground musical scene. They have become a very popular band producing pop music lacking substance.  The music contained in the album does not impress. The mainstream production of the album is probably the fault of front-man will.I.am who was catapulted to fame by his work for Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign and his  appearance in two Hollywood blockbusters (Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and X Men Origins: Wolverine).  For the album, will.I.am admitted to have been inspired by techno beats and his work with the Obama campaign. The album seems to be a product of Fergie and will.I.am with very little participation of the remaining two BEP members; Apl.de.Ap  and Taboo who by many are considered the voice of the underground. The single  Boom Boom Pow's 12 consecutive weeks on top of many charts is a proof that the Black Eye Peas have produced music to fulfill the insatiable appetite for popular music; or commercial music without any substance.
I will not buy BEP's The E.N.D but instead Moby's Wait for Me (Little Idiot). The Techno-rock star Moby has finally decided to go back to his original sound in his latest production. Moby and his timely collaboration with Amelia Zirin-Brown and  Ken Thomas makes the album definitely worth your money and your time.
