I am sorry to burst your bubble if you really enjoyed Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The movie simply failed to impress. The very 'hollywoodized" summer blockbuster featured among other two illiterate African American robots, one with a golden tooth, talking like they are coming from 'killerville', fighting and disagreeing on everything and anything just like two characters taken from Ice Cube's movies; Friday, Next Friday or First Sunday. Then you have 2 dogs going berserk on each other and a decepticon robot with a voice similar to Steve Buscemi humping Megan Fox's leg! Everything from the original Transformers (2007) was amplified. Sam's mother going even crazier, the father getting very cheap, also adding the sex appeal to Megan Fox's character, and making Shia Lebeouf say nonsensical lines and adding even more nonessential action sequences to the whole package.
The positive side of the movie is the comedic genius of John Torturro (The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where art Thou). Torturro who plays an ex-government agent living with his mother gives clues to destroy the enemies of the human race. His screen appearance was the only high point of the two-and-half hour movie.
Torturro can also be seen in Denzel Washington's Taking of Pelhan 123, also playing in theaters.
Advice for those who did not watch Transformers yet: Do not waste your 10$ at the theater, wait for the DVD and watch it on your couch as many times as you want and fast forward the parts you do not want to watch.
